I normally prefer to be on one side of the camera.  Every once in a while, however, someone convinces me to hop on over to the other side of the lens...

...here are the results.

(Special note:  there are quite a few images of me dancing with Robert Wood Dance, New York on their Flickr stream.  If you can believe it...I had no idea these images existed until recently!  If you'd like to check them out, here is a link:  RWDNY.)

Chelsea Rowe Shoot, November 17 2012

The following images were taken by Chelsea Rowe on November 17, 2012 at the University of Utah.  I'd like to thank her for helping me get images of myself dancing, and for being patient enough to get past my initial awkwardness at having my picture taken.  (If you didn't know this already, I usually hate being in front of the camera.)  I'd also like to thank her for one of my favorite quotes of all time - as I was attempting the movement that eventually turned in the PDC Spring 2013 poster you see below (design by Tyler Kunz), I asked for feedback.  She said, and I quote, "I have no idea how you're doing that - but keep going."

Thank you, Chelsea.

Jessica Peterson Shoot, October 22 2012

The following images were taken by Jessica Peterson on October 22, 2012 at at her studio in Salt Lake City.  I think it was a great idea to bring a huge sack of rubber bouncy balls to the shoot - it's something I think should continue to be explored (maybe with a bit more planning ahead next time.)  Thank you, Jessica.

Claire Bagley Half Shoot, October 12 2012

The following images were taken by Claire Bagley on October 12, 2012 outside of Ellen Bromberg's apartment.  I had asked Claire to help me out - I needed some head shots.  I always need head shots...because I hate having head shots taken, and I always look really uncomfortable.  So, I asked Claire to bring her camera with her to the welcome party for the grad students...and then proceeded to do everything possible to get out of having them taken.  In the end, Claire was strong enough to drag me, kicking and screaming, outside for a few quick shots.  Thank you, Claire, and I'm sorry I am such a pain in front of the camera.  I miss you!

And..what would this be without some images from the past.  I'll work on getting larger images for some of the oldest shots.
